Outer Island Excursions offers whale watching and fishing as well as private charters from Anacortes, WA. Anacortes is a short drive from Birch Bay and Bellingham and is about an hour and half north of Seattle. We offer daily scheduled Whale Watching trips from Anacortes from May to October. We also offer Fishing Charters and Private Charters year round. Or if you want to skip the Ferry and tour the islands at your own pace take a water taxi anywhere in the San Juan Islands! We are proud to offer a wide variety of services to best suit our client’s needs. Anything you want to do on the water give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our specialty is custom private charters, but we also operate daily group trips with less than 30 people to cultivate a personal experience with your captain and naturalist.

No Ferry required! On the mainland in Anacortes we meet at 2201 Skyline Way in Skyline Marina just past the Skyline Marine Center. Parking is available any where along the street for free or in paid parking lots across the street. Meet your Captain at the truck painted with Orca Whale murals and a conspicuous sign.

Outer Island Excursions can start your charter from anywhere in the region including Lopez, San Juan, Shaw, Blakely, Lummi Island, Anacortes, Bellingham and most anywhere else you might be in the San Juan Islands. Please check our location pages for more information for your area.
