ISLAND RESOURCES

Orcas Island is our home – and we want to share our favorite resorts, restaurants, and activities. Listed below are local insider tips to the hotels and resorts where we send our family and friends who visit, our favorite restaurants where we like to go out to eat, and our favorite things to do in the region when we’re not on the water!

Also listed are resources for our locations throughout the region. When we aren’t on Orcas we spend a lot of time exploring the other islands and the mainland. Our region is the peak of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

Here are some local additional resources for our region:

Smuggler’s Villa Resort

Our tours depart directly from Smuggler’s Villa Resort on the North Shore of Orcas Island. The resort’s large, comfy condos are perfect for families and groups, with two bedrooms, full bath (larger units have additional twin beds and half-bath), fireplace, cable TV, kitchen and laundry. Sliders from living/dining area open onto your own spacious deck with lounge chairs, tables and benches to catch the afternoon sun and incredible view. There’s so much to do here! Enjoy the hot tub, sauna, outdoor pool, playground, tennis/basketball court, guest marina, and our own pebble beach.  With our own marina and proximity to Eastsound Airport, Smuggler’s Villa Resort is the ideal boat-in or fly-in destination. Or you enjoy the ride on the State Ferry from Anacortes.
