We depart Orcas Island and head for Stuart Island. Along the 16 mile trip we will watch for sea lions, orcas, porpoises, seals and other wildlife that inhabit the San Juans. Once at Stuart Island we will hike to the Turn Point lighthouse which was completed in 1936. The lighthouse is currently home to a historical museum. We will take time to view and photograph the lighthouse, visit the museum and watch for the orcas which frequently pass by the light. If you choose, bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic.

We will depart Orcas Island and head for Patos Island. Along the 8 mile trip we will watch for sea lions, orcas, porpoises, seals and other wildlife that inhabit the San Juans. Once at Patos Island we will hike to the Patos Island Lighthouse which was completed in 1905. The light house has been recently restored, though it is currently not open to the public. We will have a chance to view and photograph the lighthouse and watch for pods of harbor porpoise which frequently feed near the point. If you choose bring, a lunch and enjoy a picnic.

Visit one or more of the regions numerous lighthouses. On our custom trips we can depart from any location in the San Juans such as Lopez Island, San Juan Island, or Lummi Island. We can even pick you up from mainland locations such as Bellingham or Anacortes. We can view lighthouses from the water or on land. At some of the lighthouses, tours of the interior can be arranged. We can extend your tour to include additional activities such as whale watching, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, photography, and more. The cost of these tours is on an hourly basis.
