ORCAS ISLAND WHALE WATCHING

Join one of our Whale and Wildlife tours departing from Smuggler’s Villa Resort near Eastsound on Orcas Island. Come out and see orca whales, gray whales, humpback whales, porpoises, seals, sea lions, otters, bald eagles and much more. Our boats are faster and have a much longer range than any other tour boats in the region.

We find Orca whales far more often than any other company in the San Juans or Bellingham. We’ll head deep into Canadian water – even past Victoria or Vancouver to find Orca. We can travel over 50 miles each way, 100 miles round trip if it means seeing Orca. (click here for details)

OUR WHALE SIGHTING GUARANTEE

Our Headquarters and offices are at the marina at Smugglers Villa Resort. From Sucia Drive look for a metal gate with a big sign painted like an Orca Whale. Our regularly scheduled whale watching and kayaking tours meet at our office in the Whale Watch Parking Lot in the marina. Look for the red building and check in at the kiosk.

We offer Whale and Wildlife Tours Year Round!

FROM MID-APRIL UNTIL OCTOBER, WE OFFER:

• Scheduled Orcas Island Whale Watch Trips

ALL YEAR WE OFFER:

• Custom Whale / Wildlife Charters

SCHEDULED ORCAS ISLAND WHALE WATCHING TOURS

On a scheduled trip we sell tickets to individuals to create groups no larger than 30 for a day or an evening on the water. These trips depart from April through October. With small groups you are able to spend more time one-on-one with your Captain and Naturalist, have a chance to meet some new friends, and have an opportunity to enjoy abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery. We see Orca or Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Gray Whales, and even the occasional Fin Whales. We see whales on over 98% of these trips. On the rare occasion when there are no whale sightings in the area we often see porpoise, sea lions, seals, eagles, otters and other marine life on our search for whales.

Please arrive and Check In 30 minutes before your departure time. For directions and other locations consult our location/map page.

Guaranteed Whale Watching Trip

Our whale watch trip takes you out for whales and wildlife. We head out into the San Juans and Canadian Gulf Islands to search for Orcas, Humpbacks, Grays, and Minkes.
