T019B, Galiano, In Front of Galiano Island
Our adventure today began with a sighting of Galiano on the shore of Galiano Island. Absolutely splendid! He was traveling and scouting with his mother, "Mooyah," T019.
The afternoon took an interesting turn when, in the same exact area, T065A5, an 8-year old juvenile, was seen pacing back and forth erratically - and completely alone. We dropped the hydrophone to listen for any calls, but it was completely silent. Very curious, and noteworthy.
Nearby we found the T037A's, and more reports a mile off, so it is completely plausible that T065A5's family was nearby.
We also got a bonus Humpback sighting. What an amazing day!
