We started our day in Haro Straight with the awe-inspiring actions of the Humpback whale. Fluking, (which is a behavior thought to be communicative between whales) was seen half a dozen times!
The angle here was perfect for a view of its nostrils! Baleen whales have two nostrils, or blowholes, while toothed whales have one.
We finished our day with some spectacular sightings of some bald eagles and a mix of Steller's and California Sea Lions. Definitely a wondrous day for all!
