Today we headed South into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We were met with glassy water and foggy skies. The horizon was hardly perceptible, but we could see for miles...the perfect conditions for whale watching. The captain was told there were whales nearby, but didn't know their exact location, so we all started scanning for any sign of black fins. Not long after we spotted the T137s! They were spread throughout the water, cruising East with the Olympic mountains. On our way home we even had time to watch the Stellar Sea Lions.
