Today was amazing! There were an abundance of killer whales out there, all feeding and feasting on harbor seals and porpoises. More and more sightings kept popping up as the day went on. Some of the Matrilines observed today were the T090's, T002C's, T018's, T037A's, T137's, and four pods that went unidentified, including a lone female (or prepubescent male?) hunting solo near Patos Island.
The majority of these sightings were all within 20 miles of each other, hunting in their small groups (for stealth purposes). August is a magical time to see killer whales in action!
